We play Wednesday evenings at Brunel University’s Sports Centre in Uxbridge – we also now play at the Alec Reed Academy on Sunday afternoons

We are a friendly, long established badminton club and welcome good players who want to play in a sociable and competitive environment. The club is Badminton England affiliated.

As a club we use good quality feather shuttlecocks and offer periodic training courses by Badminton England qualified coaches to support members keen to improve their standard of play. We even offer a professional restringing service.

In addition to our normal club nights we have three teams in the Hillingdon Badminton League with matches being played throughout the year. Several times a year the club holds internal Singles and Doubles competitions  which are very popular.

On the social side we organise events for members where partners are also very welcome.

The club has three 4-monthly Sessions a year – January to April, May to August and September to December – and Members pay their subscriptions at the start of each Session.  In addition all Members need to be Badminton England registered. Visitors pay £10 Visitors Fee each time they play. If a Visitor subsequently joins the club, any Visitor Fees paid in a Session are taken into account for their subscription.

We play Wednesday nights from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm
If you would like to attend get in touch to let us know in advance. Please don’t turn up unannounced.

Brunel University’s Sports Centre

The superb new multi-million pound facilities at Brunel are possibly one of the best in London for playing badminton. We play in a well-lit spacious hall with 4 courts for the full 3 hours. The floor is sprung wood taking some of the pressure off your joints while you cover the court, leaving no excuses not to have a good game of badminton! When sitting out between games there is ample stacked seating.

There is also free parking next to the Sports Centre. Just press the button when you approach the entry gate and if asked state that you are playing badminton.
